Our client, P&I Resourcing UK Ltd, a prominent resourcing company with a strong foothold in the rail industry, is seeking a dynamic Director & General Manager to lead the ongoing rail resourcing business and spearhead the company’s diversification into non-rail infrastructure sectors.
P&I Resourcing aims to broaden its reach, expanding into key growth areas such as Energy, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Water, and Civil Engineering. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to take an established business to the next level, shaping the future of P&I and driving its expansion beyond rail into exciting, fast-growing markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of P&I Resourcing’s operations, including strategic growth and financial oversight.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive diversification strategy to expand into Energy, T&D, and other infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring exceptional delivery of resourcing solutions.
- Grow the P&L of the business by increasing revenue through business development initiatives and expanding the client base.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering innovation and ensuring operational excellence in both new and existing markets.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to strengthen P&I’s brand and position it as a leading resourcing provider in diverse industries.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in business development, with extensive experience in growing the P&L of a technical resourcing company.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive growth and innovation, develop new market strategies, and foster partnerships.
- Expertise in the infrastructure sector, with particular focus on Energy, Water, Civil Engineering, and related industries.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with senior-level clients.
- Strategic thinker with the capability to analyse market trends and capitalize on opportunities.
