Description

Our client, a well-known contractor to the utilities and highways sectors, wishes to recruit a Regional Director to manage a significant P&L. This is an all-encompassing role with responsibility for both operational performance and growing the business.

The contractor has great potential and is well-known within the UK market. The role would become a part of a high-quality and respected senior leadership team. With a collaborative leadership approach and a strong commercial and operational mindset, the Regional Director can make a lasting impact on this business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the regional strategy and ensure thatthis is successfully implemented and delivered.
  • Work with managers and business development teams to support the growth of the business within the region. This will include business retention and new business acquisition.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and customers.
  • Lead operations across the region, ensuring that company targets are delivered.
  • Hands-on leader, working closely with front line operations.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and managing significant operational teams of 100+ staff across multiple locations.
  • Highways and/or Utilities sector experience.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Track record of successful P&L management.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Modern leadership skills.
