Description
Our client, a tier 1 contractor, seeks an experienced Director to manage an infrastructure maintenance and repair contract for a key client.
This position will lead a significant operational team distributed across several depots and oversee a contract generating over £50 million of revenue per annum. The ideal candidate will ideally be based in the Central Belt of Scotland.
This role is a great opportunity to lead a major infrastructure contract, improve operations and boost profitability; ideal for experienced leaders’ who have previously delivered large-scale repair & maintenance contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial performance and implement business plans for the maintenance contract.
- Deliver the right outputs for the client in line with the service level agreements and ensure a positive and collaborative relationship is maintained.
- Ensure the contract is administered and managed effectively.
- Oversee supply chain partnerships to maximise efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct site inspections ensuring safety if the No.1 priority and regular performance reviews to ensure efficient delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold high delivery standards.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing large-scale repair and maintenance contracts in an infrastructure sector.
- Experience with substantial P&L oversight and business planning, ideally with a tier 1 contractor.
- Demonstrated leadership in overseeing large operational teams.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Background in managing and enhancing contract performance.
