Jim founded Newsom Consulting in 2010 and is our Managing Director. He specialises in senior appointments within Transport, Infrastructure and the Built Environment. Since he started his career in executive search in 1998, Jim has worked with clients across a range of sectors, including Rail, Aviation, Roads, Energy, Utilities and Construction. Prior to forming Newsom Consulting, Jim spent eleven years with one of the UK's largest independently owned executive recruiters, progressing to Director of the London office and latterly Practice Director for Transportation, Construction and Infrastructure. Jim is a graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool and is an Associate member of the ICE.
