Have announced the appointment of Kevin Fowlie as Chief Executive Officer. Fowlie succeeds co-founder and former Chief Executive, Dan Holland who now joins the company’s board as Non-Executive Director. Fowlie has been with Network Plus since April 2023, having joined from United Utilities as Chief Operating Officer.
Have announced the appointment of Jerome Frost as CEO as part of the unveiling of their new Board. Frost has been at the company since 2011, most recently as group Chair.
Have appointed Emma-Jane Houghton as Director of Estate Strategy and Planning (AWE masterplan). Houghton moves internally, from her role as Commercial Director- UK Fissile Programme.
Managing Director of UK Trains, David Brown, has announced that he is set to retire at the end of this month.
Peter Lyons has been appointed as Managing Director for its European Business. He succeeds Cathal O’Rourke, who has been running the European since March 2023 and is now Group Chief Executive Officer. Lyons moves internally, from his position as Head of Laing O’Rourke Specialist Trading Business Group.
Have appointed Cameron Tonkin as Vice President, Major Pursuits. Tonkin joins from Green Lithium, where he was Chief Operating Officer.
Have announced the appointment of Paul Reilly as President & Managing Director for WSP UK & Ireland. Reilly moves internally, having been Deputy UK CEO.
They have also appointed current President EMEIA, Mark Naysmith, as Global Chief Operating Officer.
Lindsay McGibbon has stepped down from his position as Managing Director, Regional Buildings. Succeeding McGibbon as interim Managing Director, Regional Buildings is Andy Pedley, former Regional Civil Commercial Director.
Susan Evans has been appointed as Rail Sector Director for their consulting business. Evans joins from AECOM, where she has been Rail, Bridges and Structures Director since 2019.
Have announced the appointment of Dorothy Robertson as Regional Director for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Robertson joins from MGAC, where she was Executive Director.
Have appointed Alex Hornby as Commercial and Customer Director. Hornby joins from McGill’s Buses, where he was Group Managing Director.
Alasdair Fowler has been appointed CEO as part of changes to the company’s leadership structure. Fowler has been with the business for the past 14 years, most recently as Executive Director.
Current Executive Managing Director, Chris Young, will become Chair, overseeing the group’s strategy.
Have announced the appointment of Aiman Al-Mudaifer as acting CEO, following the departure of Nadhmi Al-Nasr. Aiman Al-Mudaifer joins from the Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) local real estate division.
Have appointed Karen Buck as the new Chair. This follows the news of Liz Peace stepping down after two terms in the position. Buck was Labour MP for Westminster North for 27 years, before stepping down in May.

Martin Farrington has been appointed as the new Chair. Farrington has worked in local government for 35 years and was the Director of City Development at Leeds City Council.
Have announced the appointment of Nikki Venetsanakis as Head of Advanced Tech for RLB UK and Europe. Venetsanakis joined RLB in 2021 and steps up to head the firm’s data centre and advanced technology business.
