A major contractor is looking to recruit a Framework Director to lead on a major infrastructure framework contract in Scotland. The framework is expected to grow to over £100m annual turnover in the next 12 months.
The framework is with a major UK infrastructure asset owner and comprises of both major and minor projects. A key focus of the role will be working collaboratively with the client to find programme efficiencies through introducing new approaches and ways of working.
Our client is a well-respected major UK contractor, with a significant presence in most UK infrastructure markets.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Experience of leading a significant infrastructure or civil engineering contracting business. This could be a division, framework or region, ideally £50m+ annual turnover.
- Experience of successfully implementing efficiencies in a contracting business through introducing innovative delivery methods.
- Collaborative approach.
- Leadership behaviours that engender a supportive, open, no-blame culture.
- Contractual and commercial awareness.
