Have announced the appointment of Will Wilson as its new Managing Director for its rolling stock business, succeeding Vernon Barker. Will has spent the last two years in Spain as Head of International Sales, Mainline at Siemens.
Kevin Fowlie joins as Network Delivery Director, leaving Amey where he was Managing Director of Utilities.
Have Appointed Jonathan White as its new UK Head of Infrastructure, Building and Construction Practice. He replaces Richard Threlfall who was promoted to KPMG’s Global Head of Infrastructure at the end of last year.
Following on from CH2M’s takeover by Jacobs, Rachel White has moved to ARCADIS as their Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, Europe, Middle East and UK and CEO Europe South at Arcadis. She was previously CH2M European Managing Director.
Dave Diskin has joined as Regional Managing Director for the North, he leaves Carillion Rail where he was Operations Director.
Aarsleff Ground Engineering
Have appointed Kevin Hague as its new Managing Director. He joined the contractor in 2014 as Piling Manager and moves up to MD with immediate effect.
Natasha Grice was appointed as People Executive Director, taking over from Patrick McGrath last month. Natasha joined Virgin sixteen years ago and has most recently been General Manager for the Birmingham route.
Neil McNicholas takes on the role of Managing Director for UK Rail having spent the last three years with the company as Group Business Development Director and MD for Freightliner Middle East.
Arriva Trains Wales
Simon Hughes leaves the train operating company after two years as Engineering Director to join Defence & Equipment Support (DE&S) as Chief Operating Officer. Keith Winder becomes Interim Production Director.
David Allen has been appointed as its new Chief Executive following his five-month stint as interim CEO, after former boss Andrew Davies’ departure last November.
Turner & Townsend
Have announced the appointment of David Whysall as its new MD for UK Infrastructure after Patricia Moore was promoted to UK Managing Director last month. David first joined the company as a graduate in 2004 and has since managed major programme teams working on projects such as Heathrow Airport, HS2 and Crossrail.
Former CH2M MD for National Governments, Jonathan Baker has joined Mott MacDonald as their Power Generation Programme Delivery Director. The consulting firm have also appointed Giles Hewson as Director responsible for its UK highways design services business.
Have made Jérôme Furgé its Executive Director for Business Development in the UK. He takes on the role after two years leading the HS2 bid for the Align JV comprising; Bouygues, VolkerFitzpatrick and Sir Robert McAlpine.
Have announced several changes to its UK and Ireland consultancy team. Alan James is now Managing Director of the UK & Ireland Consultancy business, he was most recently Operations Director. Richard Hancox moves from Commercial Director to Operations Director.
Chris Pownall has been appointed as Business Director for London & South, he was Director of Rail Consultancy. Steve Pickard is now Business Director for Midlands & North and Kevin Clarke is now Business Director for Scotland, replacing John Milligan who has retired.
Richard Stacey, who was Business Director (Commercial) for London and the South will now head a new combined development and infrastructure sector and Neill Birch will lead rail and other public transport networks.
Keolis Commuter Services
Richard Dean has left Abellio Greater Anglia where he was Train Service Delivery Director and joined Keolis Commuter Services in Boston where he has been appointed as Vice President Service Delivery.
Andrew Sherrington has been appointed Managing Director, succeeding Justin Davies. Andrew is currently Operations Director for First West of England.
Martin Sutton, Managing Director of Stagecoach in Oxfordshire is retiring in July after fourteen years in post. A replacement is yet to be announced.
Richard Harris has been appointed as Director, Europe for the manufacturer of self-driving cars. He moves across from parent company; New Zealand’s HMI Group where he was Director for Communications, Marketing, International Transportation and Government.
Cara Murphy has been promoted to Operations Director in the London office. She was UK Transport Strategy and Planning Team Leader.
West of England Combined Authority
David Carter will join as Director of Infrastructure. He is currently North Somerset Council’s Director of Development and Environment.
University of Birmingham
Alex Burrows joins as Director of Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education. He leaves Alstom Transport where he was Marketing and Strategy Director.
